These terms apply to the meltag.app website and all apps published by MelTag. Using either means you agree to them.
MelTag is an independent studio operating as a sole proprietorship established in Türkiye. "We" and "us" below mean that studio; "you" means whoever is using the apps or the website.
1. Using the apps and website
You can use our apps and website for their intended purpose. Don't try to break them, reverse-engineer them with malicious intent, or use them to do anything illegal.
2. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use our apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. That's a licence to use the app, not a sale of it — we keep everything we haven't explicitly given you here.
3. Age
Our apps are for a general audience but they aren't directed at children under 13. If you're under the age at which you can agree to terms on your own where you live, you need a parent or guardian to agree on your behalf.
4. Ownership
The MelTag name, logos, app designs, and content belong to us or our licensors. You can't copy, redistribute or build on them without permission, unless the law says otherwise.
5. Accounts and the things you upload
Our games don't have accounts. Konfeti does, because it stores your wedding for you, and these rules apply to it.
- Your login is yours to look after. Use a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account.
- Your content stays yours. Photos, videos, guest-book notes — we claim no ownership of any of it. You give us only the permission we need to store it, show it inside your own wedding, and let you and your guests download it. We don't use it for marketing, we don't sell it, and we don't train anything on it.
- You're responsible for what goes in. That means having the right to upload what you upload, and letting your guests know what the QR code does before they use it. As the wedding's owner you're the one who decides who gets the code.
- Nothing illegal or abusive. We can remove content that breaks the law or someone else's rights, and close an account that keeps doing it. We don't go looking through your wedding — we act on reports and on what the law requires.
- Keep your own copies. Download everything after the event. Konfeti is a way to collect and share your day, not a long-term backup service, and each plan has a download window.
6. App stores, purchases and refunds
Our mobile apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Downloading and using them also means you're subject to those platforms' own terms. Some apps include ads or optional purchases — these are described in the app and its store listing.
Konfeti plans are a one-off purchase per wedding. They are not a subscription: nothing renews automatically, and nothing is charged again without you asking. What each plan includes is set out on Konfeti's own pricing section.
Where a purchase runs through Apple or Google, it doesn't run through us — we never see your card details, and refunds are handled by the store you bought from: Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com, Google via your order history in the Play Store. If a store turns down a request you believe is fair, tell us and we'll help where we can. For anything arranged directly with us, email us and we'll sort it out.
Apple-specific terms. For apps obtained from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these terms, and prevails on Apple-specific matters if the two ever conflict. Apple is not a party to these terms, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for our apps, and is solely responsible only as set out in its own agreement. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
7. Ads
Some apps are free because they show ads served by third parties such as Google AdMob. We don't control what individual ad you see, and an ad appearing in one of our apps isn't an endorsement of the advertiser. How the ad provider handles data is covered in our privacy policy.
8. No warranty
The apps and website are provided as-is. We try hard to keep everything working well, but we can't guarantee they'll be error-free or available 100% of the time.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MelTag isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from your use of our apps or website. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection rules.
10. Ending things
You can stop using the apps at any time by uninstalling them, and you can delete your Konfeti account and everything in it whenever you like. We may suspend or withdraw an app or part of the website — for example when we retire an old app — and we may end your licence if you seriously breach these terms. The sections on ownership, warranty, liability, governing law and severability survive the end of this agreement.
11. Changes
We may update these terms when needed. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the apps or website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and disputes go to the courts of Türkiye. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection of mandatory consumer law in the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim before your local consumer arbitration committee or court.
13. If part of this doesn't hold
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands.
